When an instructor accesses the Distance Learning Online Recruitment Tool, cookies are placed on his or her web browser. The cookies are used to identify the same instructor from webpage to webpage and to help with the authentification (user name and password) process. Creation of a resume within this system means that the instructor’s personal data is available to Distance Learning Administrators within the North Carolina Community College System through the use of this searchable database. An instructor’s personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties unless compelled by a valid legal process.
